Writing now.
It seems this site has been in rest for years, Not so my writing. To be honest I have been doing stuff commercially and for fun in glossy magazines. These are not for open display as they are commissioned works.
I am changing my life again in the next year so will be experiencing yet another country to live from and I will, I am sure, start writing short stories as the inspiration again returns.
I re-read my Shorter Muse book to refresh my urges and realise it was good, but needed a professional re-edit or perhaps I'll give another idea yet another attempt from the get go.
I will see what the muse directs, its a fickle mistress my muse. I will have to wait for her to vibrate me into action.
So this is a bit of a self excuse, a bit of and apology and in a way a trigger to get me being more creative now my property work is in hiatus, commercial writing demands expiring and my car infatuation is getting under control... I say that. I am loving track days and the fun of lost hours working on cars again....
Basically , life is going well, I've remained joyously married, busily content and sometimes an active happy life is not the best lubricant for creative writing.
I do now wonder how long it will be before I lodge another short story here... the heart is willing.
